The anglican cathedral
This interesting cathedral built in 1873 it's a combination of gothic and islamic architectural elements. It stands on grounds of the former slave market (only officially closed in 1873).
The altar stands on the exact
spot where slave whipping and auctions took place.
Paying an entrance fee there's
the possibility to visit the underground slave holding cells.
