The Peace Memorial Museum, featuring a central cupola, reflects the british colonial taste blended with the
arabic architecture's style.
It was designed by the British architect J.H. Sinclair and built with funds
provided by the Government and by various organizations in commemoration of the First World War. It has sections
on archaeology, history, early trade,
slavery, mainland explorations, colonial administrators and traditions.
